ARM – Águas e Resíduos da Madeira has announced that it will carry out improvement works on the water distribution systems in the municipality of Machico.
This intervention will require a temporary interruption of the drinking water supply in some areas of the parish of Água de Pena. The interruption is scheduled for Friday, July 17, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, affecting the Bairro dos Pescadores and Igreja areas.
The company stated that the intervention is part of a set of works aimed at improving the water supply infrastructure in the municipality and will make every effort to minimize impacts, requesting the public's understanding.
