Association Sem Limites Thanks PSP for Enforcement Against Improper Parking in Funchal

The APPNE-ASL – Portuguese Association for People with Special Needs – Sem Limites Association publicly thanked the Public Security Police, particularly the Funchal Police Division, for their work in enforcing regulations against improper parking in spaces reserved for people with disabilities or reduced mobility.

The association highlighted the PSP's random and periodic enforcement actions, which have led to the detection and ticketing of offenders. According to APPNE-ASL, at least 84 such infractions have been recorded in Funchal since the beginning of the year, a number that underscores the scale of the problem and the importance of continued enforcement.

APPNE-ASL considers the continuation of these actions fundamental to ensure effective intervention against abusive parking and to promote greater public awareness, contributing to a more accessible and inclusive city.
