The President of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, will visit Madeira next Monday to participate in an open lecture on 'Autonomy and Centrality' at the University of Madeira. The session, part of the Master's in Education and Community Development, will be moderated by Liliana Rodrigues and will discuss autonomy issues based on the Azorean experience.
Bolieiro will arrive on Sunday and attend the University of Madeira on Monday morning. A meeting with the President of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, is also scheduled. The visit includes the recording of a joint program between RTP-Madeira and RTP-Açores, as part of the 50th Anniversary of Autonomy celebrations.
