The Portuguese Bar Association holds its 14th Convention of Delegations from 5 to 7 November at the Aula Magna of the University of the Azores in Ponta Delgada. The meeting coincides with the Association's centenary celebrations.
Over three days, representatives from delegations across the country will discuss the challenges facing the legal profession in the 21st century, under the theme "Delegations as observatories of practice and laboratories of solutions for Advocacy in the 21st Century: Tradition, Innovation, Technology and Proximity."
Topics on the agenda include new models of legal practice, artificial intelligence, advertising and ethics in the profession, local good practices and traditions, and the role of delegations in revising the Association's statutes. Bastonário João Massano will attend all three days.
