The 103rd meeting of the Monthly Group of Madeiran Military Veterans Who Served Overseas will take place this Sunday, 8 November, at the parish church of Santa Rita in the parish of São Martinho.
The programme opens at 10 a.m. with a tribute at the monument to those who died overseas, located in the Jardim in front of RG3. Mass follows at 11 a.m., and lunch is served at 1 p.m. at Restaurante O Escondidinho in Machico.
A bus will leave Machico at 8:30 a.m., with stops in Santa Cruz, at Avenida do Mar (near the GNR) and at Ponte dos Frades. Families are welcome to take part, and the cost of lunch is shared by all. Registration closes on 6 November.
