The Bem Cuidar project has launched its fifth edition, aiming to train approximately 500 home care assistants in Madeira.
Organized by Causa Social – Association for the Promotion of Citizenship, this three-month initiative focuses on strengthening skills, increasing professional recognition, and encouraging the continued development of these caregivers. This year's program includes certified training in first aid and the prevention and identification of senior citizen abuse.
The initiative was formally launched with the signing of a program contract between the Regional Government and Causa Social, providing over €100,000 in financial support. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from the Regional Government and social welfare institutions.
