On June 26th, at 4 PM, the Funchal Natural History Museum will host the launch of the first volume in the "Biodiversity Guides of the Madeira Archipelago and Selvagens Islands" series.
This guide, dedicated to butterflies, is authored by António Franquinho Aguiar, Ricardo Araújo, and Ysabel Gonçalves. The bilingual (Portuguese and English) work features a preface by the Mayor of Funchal, Jorge Carvalho.
The guides aim to disseminate scientific knowledge and raise awareness about Madeira's natural richness and ecosystem conservation, aligning with the Funchal Municipality's environmental education goals.
