Bordal – Bordados da Madeira has announced the launch of a new collection inspired by Madeira Wine. The initiative aims to unite two heritages deeply connected to the Region's history, culture, and identity: Madeira Embroidery and Madeira Wine.
Featuring a contemporary design, the collection reinterprets elements associated with vineyards and wine, such as leaves and grapes, through Madeira Embroidery. The resulting pieces are described as modern and intended for both table settings and women's apparel.
The official launch is scheduled for tomorrow, September 3rd, at 4:30 PM, at Blandy's Wine Lodge, a partner of Bordal. The event takes place in a location with strong historical ties to Madeira Wine and at a symbolic time, coinciding with the grape harvest and Madeira Wine Week.
