The Funchal Cultural and Research Centre (CCIF) is presenting two new exhibitions in September. Starting September 5th, Gallery B will host "From Sea to Mountain", promoted by the Madeira Model Enthusiasts group, featuring around a hundred pieces by various Madeiran model makers.
This exhibition marks the first time such a large group of authors has gathered for a model-making exhibition on the island and includes an interactive slot car track. The opening is on September 5th at 4:00 PM, with free admission.
Also starting September 4th, Gallery A1 will host the "Martístico" exhibition, an initiative by the MARE-Madeira Young Ambassadors. This exhibition showcases 49 works of photography, video, visual arts, and writing, created by Madeira residents and inspired by their connection to the ocean. The opening is at 6:00 PM, with free admission.
