PSD/Machico has expressed its appreciation for the Fachos tradition, one of the municipality's identifying symbols. Party representatives visited the preparation and exhibition sites, highlighting the volunteer effort that keeps this ancient practice alive.
The party emphasized that the Fachos are more than just fire, representing Machico's history and identity. PSD/Machico reaffirmed its commitment to defending cultural heritage, arguing that traditions should be supported year-round, not just during visible moments.
