The artistic project “breezingSILENCE”, by artists Yola Pinto and Marco Santos, is set to premiere this Sunday, July 5th, at 10:00 PM, in the outdoor spaces of MUDAS – Contemporary Art Museum of Madeira, in Calheta.
This initiative, a result of an artistic residency supported by the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture, offers a multidisciplinary experience combining performance, image, sound, and landscape, with free admission. The project reflects on silence as a space for listening and contemplation, exploring the interaction between body, memory, and nature within Madeira's landscape.
Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, Eduardo Jesus, highlighted the importance of artistic residencies in supporting contemporary creation and revitalizing museum spaces, considering MUDAS a "living cultural space" for hosting such projects.
