A 30-year-old British man was found dead this morning at a house on Estrada da Ponta da Oliveira, in Caniço de Baixo.
The Santa Cruz Fire Brigade was alerted at 8:57 am and sent an ambulance to the scene. According to local press, the man was already dead when help arrived.
The man was reportedly accompanied by a woman. The PSP (Portuguese Public Security Police) has taken charge of the incident. The cause of death has not been reported.
