The Madeira Regional Command of the PSP reported 82 road accidents across the Autonomous Region of Madeira between 30 October and 5 November 2026. The incidents left 17 people with minor injuries and one person seriously injured.
Funchal recorded the most incidents, with 33, followed by Santa Cruz. Most of the accidents were collisions between vehicles.
Police again pointed to drivers who continue to drive under the influence of alcohol or without a valid licence.
