The Portuguese League Against Cancer (LPCC), through its Regional Nucleus of Madeira, has started a volunteer recruitment campaign for the National Charity Drive.
This solidarity event, aimed at collecting donations to support cancer patients and their families, as well as for prevention and research initiatives, will take place from October 29 to November 1. The campaign, titled ‘Ligue-se à Liga’ (Connect to the League), seeks to strengthen its support network and particularly attract younger volunteers.
Interested individuals can dedicate just a few hours during the four days of the campaign. Sign-ups can be completed via the LPCC website or by directly contacting the Regional Nucleus of Madeira. The League also offers other volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
