Madeiran athlete Carlota Rodrigues participated in an international Stand Up Paddle (SUP) training camp in Essen, Germany, from July 9th to 13th.
The camp, organized by WPC with support from GSA, took place on two lakes and was led by multiple champion Susanne Lier. Intensive training covered improving starts, Beach Race techniques, mobility, and paddling, along with theoretical video-analysis sessions.
Carlota Rodrigues expressed enthusiasm for the experience, highlighting the opportunity to learn new techniques and working methods. She extended thanks to her club (CNF), the Regional Directorate of Sport (DRD/PEP), and the Muñoz Trindade Ophthalmological Institute (IOMT).
