The cruise ship 'Celebrity Xcel' docked in Funchal this morning, carrying 3,212 passengers and 1,457 crew members for a 34-hour stopover.
The vessel, belonging to Celebrity Cruises and managed by JFM Shipping, will remain on the island overnight, departing tomorrow, Sunday, at 5 PM.
The ship is on an 11-night cruise departing from and returning to Barcelona, having previously called at Cadiz and Lisbon. Its next stop will be Tangier, Morocco, followed by Palma de Mallorca before returning to Barcelona on October 2nd.
