The Chega e Transparência (CH) party has again questioned the Regional Government of Madeira regarding the lack of measures to reduce VAT and the cost of living on the island.
Hugo Nunes, from CH, accused the executive of "governing for the rich" and forgetting the middle class, advocating for a maximum 30% reduction in VAT rates. Nunes also denounced what he called a "monopoly of port operations" by "friends of the regime."
