Clube Naval do Funchal (CNF) demonstrated its strength in regional swimming, establishing itself as the main reference at the Pedro Fino Championship, held from July 3-5 at Piscina da Penteada. The team achieved a significant number of medals and broke several records, both collectively and individually.

Tomás Gonçalves and Maria Ferro were the standout individual swimmers, setting new regional records. Gonçalves broke three regional breaststroke records (50m, 100m, and 200m), while Ferro rewrote the regional backstroke records (50m and 100m).

Joaquim Carvalho also excelled, setting new national S17 records in freestyle (50m, 100m, 200m) and the 100m butterfly. In the senior category, Zara Rojas won four golds and João Rodrigues secured three titles, contributing to the team's lead.

Collectively, CNF topped the rankings in the Infantil A, Juvenis, Juniores, and Seniores categories, showcasing superiority across all age groups and consolidating its dominance in Madeira swimming.
