Court of Auditors Points Out Irregularities in Civil Protection Heliport Expansion

The Court of Auditors (TC) has identified irregularities in the process that led to the expansion of the Cancela Heliport's Air Means Centre (CMA), a project budgeted at 199,500 euros.

The TC's audit concluded that the prior consultation for the works could not have been initiated by the Regional Civil Protection Service's Board of Directors, as this body was not legally constituted at the time, operating only with its president.

The TC recommends that the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection strengthen its oversight of the constitution of management boards and ensure compliance with public spending and procurement regulations.
