The South Central Administrative Court has ordered the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, Eduardo Jesus, to provide the Juntos Pelo Povo (JPP) party with documentation related to the expenses of the 2025 edition of the promotional event 'Toast to America'.
This judicial decision follows an appeal by the regional executive against an earlier ruling. The JPP party highlighted the case, viewing it as indicative of a lack of transparency in public fund management and emphasizing the necessity of public scrutiny over the use of taxpayer money.
