Six new business projects, covering areas such as catering, cafes, aesthetics, well-being, IT consulting, and digital solutions, will move forward with support from the Program for the Creation of Companies and Self-Employment (CRIEE). These projects represent a public investment exceeding 264,000 euros and anticipate the creation of 12 jobs.
Incentive concession contracts were signed this Wednesday, bringing together entrepreneurs from the municipalities of Funchal, Ribeira Brava, and Santana. Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Labor, and Youth, Paula Margarido, highlighted that the program offers an opportunity for beneficiaries to reinvent themselves and create their own employment.
Since the beginning of the year, CRIEE has supported 33 business projects, with a public investment of over 1.1 million euros and the forecast of 47 jobs. Since 2015, the program has supported 624 companies, resulting in the creation of 1,035 jobs and a total investment exceeding 11.7 million euros.
