The dance company Dançando com a Diferença will present its project "Dançando Crio Um Mundo" at the EB1/PE school in Câmara de Lobos tomorrow. The initiative is aimed at approximately one hundred students and will feature performers Joana Caetano and Telmo Ferreira.
Part of the "Transbordando o Meu Corpo" initiative, the event is a performative conference where artists share their life experiences and reflect on the impact of dance in building identity and social relationships. The goal is to foster dialogue with the educational community, using dance as a tool for expression and inclusion.
According to artistic director Henrique Amoedo, the "Dançando Crio Um Mundo" project is a continuous line of work in educational settings, combining contemporary creation with cultural mediation and art access. The initiative aims to strengthen the role of the arts in audience development, promoting active participation, inclusion, and the recognition of diversity.
