The dance company Dançando com a Diferença is bringing artist Cristina Planas Leitão to Madeira to lead the 'Radical Softness' seminar. The event, open to the community, will take place from September 21 to 25, from 9 AM to 1 PM, at the company's studio in Armazém do Mercado, Funchal. Registration is open, with limited spots and no prior dance experience required.
Cristina Planas Leitão, a curator, playwright, and programmer, will present a proposal that merges performing arts, research, and the development of sustainable production models. This initiative aims to mitigate the effects of insularity on artistic training and bring the company's work closer to the general public, also marking Dançando com a Diferença's 25th anniversary.
