The dance company Dançando com a Diferença is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the presentation of the danced tour “Gosto de Andar à Sombra” at the Museu Nacional Grão Vasco in Viseu on September 26. The initiative, choreographed by Leonor Barata, is part of the exhibition “Existe Luz na Sombra,” dedicated to the memory of Madeiran artist Lourdes Castro.
Led by performers Bernardo Graça and Laura Ávila, the danced tour offers a sensory and interactive experience with Castro's work, exploring the interplay between the artist's art and the choreographic interpretations. The company also contributed to the creation of audio description scripts and 3D-printed objects for the exhibition, underscoring their commitment to innovative and accessible cultural mediation.
