The Madeira-based dance company Dançando com a Diferença will bring the performance "Sibela e Digoo", by choreographer Tânia Carvalho, to the stage of the Teatro Garcia de Resende in Évora on Saturday, July 25th, at 9:30 PM.
The show, which premiered in January of this year, features two solos performed by Isabel Teixeira and Diogo Freitas. Tânia Carvalho individually explored the artistic universes of each performer, proposing "intimate spaces for experimentation" and "open territories, created in listening with the performers," according to the company.
"Sibela e Digoo" has previously been presented in Viseu and Leiria. The artistic direction of Dançando com a Diferença describes the work as an "investigation into the body, movement, and presence," which "affirms diversity as a driver of artistic excellence."
