DIÁRIO marks 33 years since it presented a renewed graphic identity, at an event held at the Hotel Reid's. The change, which occurred on July 10, 1993, introduced a more modern design, aiming for easier and more pleasant reading for readers.
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures from Madeira's political and economic life, including the then President of the Regional Government, Alberto João Jardim, and representatives of Grupo Blandy, the newspaper's owner at the time. The main visual novelty was the adoption of the color blue, which became DIÁRIO's brand image and remains so to this day.
The graphic redesign maintained the newspaper's commitment to rigorous, objective, and responsible information, adapting its presentation to better serve the Madeiran community.
