DREM Recruits Interviewers for 2027 Family Surveys

DREM is seeking interviewers to collect data for two surveys on safety and living conditions in 2027.

The Regional Statistics Directorate of Madeira (DREM) will recruit interviewers to collect data for two important family surveys to be conducted in 2027. These surveys are the Survey on Safety in Public and Private Spaces (ISEPP) and the Survey on Living Conditions and Income (ICOR).

The ISEPP aims to determine indicators on the prevalence and characteristics of gender-based and domestic violence, while the ICOR will analyze income distribution, living conditions, and poverty risk. Data collection for ISEPP begins in January 2027, offering online self-completion or in-person/telephone interviews. For ICOR, data collection starts in April and will last three months, exclusively through in-person or telephone interviews.

Candidates require at least a 12th-grade education, IT skills, and communication abilities. Specific availability is needed for telephone and in-person interviews, with a personal vehicle being a preference for the latter. Applications must be submitted via the INE recruitment platform (recrutamento.ine.pt). Selected individuals must be registered as self-employed and have no tax or social security debts.
