DTIM inaugurates solidarity exhibition of textile toys at Madeira Shopping

The DTIM – Regional Association for the Development of Information Technologies in Madeira has opened the 'Sewing Gestures, Spreading Smiles' exhibition at Madeira Shopping, running until June 28th. The photographic display highlights the creation process of textile toys, made in a creative, sustainable, and solidarity-focused sewing workshop.

These toys will later be sent to Cabo Verde, aiming to bring affection and hope to vulnerable children. The project, which saw a high number of participants, continues DTIM's previous initiatives focused on adult education and sustainability.

The event marks the completion of the first phase of an Erasmus+ project within Adult Education, fostering training and experience sharing. The next stage involves an Erasmus+ mobility to Bad Kösen, Germany, featuring workshops and visits to toy museums and factories.
