The Eco Rally Madeira 2026, part of the FIA Eco Rally Cup 2026, has received official approval from the International Automobile Federation (FIA) for its Supplementary Regulations and Itinerary.
The competition will take place between October 2 and 4, 2026, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Organized by New Wave – Atlantic Automobile Association, the event will start in Funchal with an opening ceremony on October 2nd at 9 PM, at Praça CR7. Two days of competition will follow, covering a total of 405.730 kilometers.
The arrival of the first vehicle is scheduled for October 4th at 1:30 PM at Fórum Machico, with the awards ceremony to be held at Hotel D. Pedro in Machico. The event will feature 10 regularity sections and a Street Stage in Machico, bringing the race closer to the local public.
The FIA's approval is a significant step in consolidating the Eco Rally Madeira on the international calendar for new energies, promoting Madeira as a hub for sustainable mobility and automotive innovation. Registration opens on July 2nd and closes on September 15th, 2026, with a limit of 30 teams.
