The Madeira Electricity Company, SA (EEM) has announced that the electricity supply will be interrupted in certain areas of the island due to conservation and remodeling work on the distribution network.
In Funchal, the outage will affect the Sé area, specifically Rua dos Aranhas (numbers 49 and 53), on July 16, 2026, between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
In Câmara de Lobos, the interruption will occur on Estrada João Gonçalves Zarco (numbers 58 to 100), Rua da Carreira, and Rua Padre Eduardo C N Pereira, on July 17, 2026, from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM. EEM requests understanding from consumers for any inconvenience.
