The São José de Cluny Nursing School is holding its diploma ceremony for 34 newly licensed nurses on Friday, July 10th.
The event will take place at 4:30 PM in the Florence Nightingale Auditorium and will be attended by the Regional Secretary of Health and Civil Protection, Micaela Freitas. A mass, presided over by the Bishop of Funchal, D. Nuno Brás, will precede the diploma awards at 3:00 PM.
The graduates are now prepared to enter the workforce, strengthening the nursing sector in Madeira. The ceremony also marks the retirement of Professor Luísa Santos, the nursing program coordinator.
