Work on the new Estrada dos Salões, located in Candelária, Tabua parish, Ribeira Brava, has now reached 70% completion.
The project, representing a municipal investment exceeding 500,000 euros, aims to create a two-way road to enhance safety and accessibility in the area.
Beyond the roadway, the initiative includes the installation of potable water, wastewater, and electricity networks, along with reinforcing the irrigation system. The council highlights the project's positive impact on local agricultural activities and area development, also anticipating potential for future urban expansion.
