The re-evaluation of national exams is not carried out by the same teachers who performed the initial correction, nor by a single teacher who assessed only a part of the test.
As a rule, this process is managed by the JNE (National Examinations Board), involving specialist teachers designated specifically for re-evaluation. The regulation states that these specialists cannot have been responsible for the classification or re-evaluation of the answers in question, thus ensuring the independence of the review process.
In the initial correction, teachers classify only the items assigned to them. Re-evaluation and appeals are organized by a different team, with their own rules, to ensure impartiality. A teacher specialized in one or two questions has their primary role as an item classifier, not necessarily as a global test assessor. The complete assessment is therefore typically done by other teachers designated for review or appeal.
