Explora Journeys is scheduled to visit Madeira during the winter of 2026-2027. The ship Explora I will call at the island on 5 November before continuing on a transatlantic route to the Caribbean, and Explora II is also due to call on 18 and 19 December.
According to Renato Reis, the brand's commercial director, the ships stand out in the luxury segment within the MSC group, with a capacity of around 900 passengers. He spoke this Tuesday during a visit to the MSC Meraviglia, which arrived in Funchal and departs at midnight for Boston.
Reis also said the Portuguese market shows growing demand, and that bookings for the company's voyages have already been made from Madeira.
