Funchal City Council, through its Division for Longevity and Active Ageing, will host another edition of the Expo Sénior cultural festival tomorrow, 30 October, from 2:30 pm to 5:45 pm, at the Ursa Maior Auditorium in Madeira Tecnopólo.
The initiative aims to encourage creativity, showcase talent and foster active participation by older residents in the municipality's cultural and social life. The opening session will be led by councillor Helena Leal.
Ten groups, drawn from municipal spaces and invited institutions, total 210 participants. The afternoon will feature dance, singing, theatre and poetry. The show is the result of several months of joint preparation by seniors, teachers, technicians and partner institutions.
