The Culture House of Câmara de Lobos will host “Fado à Beira-Mar” on 31 October at 9 pm. Entry is free.
The event is promoted by the Madeira Fado Association in partnership with the municipal council and forms part of ETAPA – Encontro de Teatro e Arte na Paisagem. Fadista Mónica Pinto takes the lead role.
According to a statement, the evening aims to bring the community closer to fado, recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, in an intimate setting.
