The parish of Faial is celebrating the festival of Nossa Senhora da Natividade, its patron saint, from September 11th to 13th.
The festivities begin on Friday, September 11th, with performances by the group Spot the Difference, singer Miro Freitas, and a disco with DJ Dix. On Saturday, the Faial Philharmonic Band, the group Galáxia, and singer Rui Bandeira will entertain throughout the day and night, which concludes with a disco.
On Sunday, the 13th, the Eucharist in honor of the patron saint starts at 3 PM, followed by the procession. The Faial Philharmonic Band and the groups Grupo Seca Pipas and Galáxia will provide musical entertainment during the day.
