The Festa do Monte continues today, August 12th, with the celebration of the 8th Novena, dedicated to 'Goodwill'. This initiative is aimed at the communities of Levada da Corujeira, Casa Branca, Tanque, Marmeleiros, and Pinheiro.
The celebration will be led by Father Pedro Nóbrega and is part of the spiritual preparation for the feast of Nossa Senhora do Monte. Today's program includes a pilgrimage at 12 PM, accompanied by the Funchal Municipal Band 'Os Artistas', which will tour various locations in the parish. A mass will be held at 8 PM, followed by musical entertainment with Buzico and the Musical Group Galáxia at 9:30 PM.
The spiritual preparation for the feast concludes tomorrow, August 13th, with the Novena of Good Faith, intended for the faithful of other communities and preached by Father Óscar Andrade.
