A fire broke out in an old house on Rua Latino Coelho, Funchal, around midnight, requiring the rapid intervention of firefighters and the Public Security Police (PSP).
Flames and smoke were visible at the scene, with emergency teams dispatched to extinguish the blaze. The causes of the fire are currently unknown.
This is the second fire to occur in an old block of Funchal in a short period.
