The Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters were mobilized this morning for two separate incidents involving cats in Funchal.
The first intervention took place on Caminho da Portada de Santo António, where three kitten cats were rescued from a plot of land and taken to the animal shelter.
Later, another cat was rescued from a tree on Estrada Visconde Cacongo.
