The Monthly Group of Madeiran Servicemen Who Served Overseas (AMMMSU) will hold its 103rd gathering on Sunday, 8 November, in the municipality of Funchal.
The programme begins at 10am with a tribute at the monument to those who died overseas, in front of Garrison Regiment No. 3 in São Martinho. A Mass follows at 11am at the Santa Rita parish church, then a shared lunch at 1pm at O Escondidinho restaurant in Machico.
The organisers provide a coach with pick-up points in Machico, Santa Cruz and at Ponte dos Frades. Relatives of participants are also welcome. Lunch costs will be shared among those attending.
