The president of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), Pedro Proença, stated that "it is evident that Ronaldo has the conditions to return" to the National Team.
The statements were made after the signing of a cooperation protocol between the FPF, the Funchal City Council, and the Madeira Football Association. Proença expressed confidence in the captain's reintegration, highlighting Cristiano Ronaldo's importance for winning the Nations League.
"We are all together. What we all want is to win the Nations League, and therefore, we count on everyone. Obviously, our captain Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the fundamental pieces to achieve this," declared the FPF president.
