The Regional Secretary for Economy, José Manuel Rodrigues, announced that fuel prices will rise in Madeira next Monday.
The increase is attributed to the surge in international oil prices, which has surpassed $100 per barrel.
The official made the announcement during the opening session of the IV Madeira Food Encounter. The specific amount of the increase was not disclosed.
