The Sé do Funchal has announced on its social media the launch of a digital platform, named ‘Confessa-te’, aimed at assisting Catholics in preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
The website, described as a Portuguese Catholic application, provides various resources, including an examination of conscience based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, with questions tailored for both young people and adults. Users can also organize the aspects they intend to discuss during confession. The platform also features a step-by-step guide to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, covering everything from the sign of the cross to absolution, and clarifies practical questions about the process and privacy.
The Diocese of Funchal already recommends ‘Confessa-te’ on its official website. The Cathedral used the announcement to remind the public of the confession times at the Sé: Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 10 AM, and on Fridays also between 4:30 PM and 5 PM.
