The Funchal Municipal Council (CMF) has established the Monitoring Committee for the II Municipal Youth Plan. This advisory body, part of the Municipal Youth Council (CMJ), aims to revise the previous plan.
The committee's formation took place during the first ordinary session of the CMJ for the current term. The work methodology includes active participation from the Municipality, youth, youth organizations, and partner entities, in a process preceding final approval by the City Council and Municipal Assembly.
During the session, municipal programs supporting youth, such as scholarships and associative initiatives, were also presented. The CMF recently received a five-star rating as a 'Youth-Friendly Municipality,' the highest classification awarded by the National Federation of Youth Associations.
