The Colégio dos Jesuítas hosts today the second edition of the 'Longevity in the First Person' event, organized by the Municipality of Funchal. The initiative aims to promote reflection on the challenges and opportunities of aging, value the elderly in society, and encourage a positive view of longevity.
The event brings together professionals from various fields and personalities for a dialogue on how society can prepare for a longer, healthier, and quality life. The CMF president highlighted the importance of the meeting for municipal policies promoting active life and mentioned initiatives like the ‘Taxi +75’ program.
Round tables will cover the sharing of life experiences, health, innovation, and technology serving longevity, and the fight against 'ageism'. Experts in health, technology, and public policies will participate, aiming to reflect on the evolution of healthcare and the role of technology in the autonomy and quality of life of the elderly.
