The Diocesan Secretariat for Christian Education of Funchal will hold the "Be a Catechist" training course from September 14th to December 14th. The sessions will take place on Mondays, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, covering topics on the Christian faith, the Church, and catechesis.
The diocese will also celebrate the Diocesan Day of the Disciple-Missionary Catechist on October 5th, at the Curral das Freiras pavilion. The event, attended by Bishop D. Nuno Brás, will feature prayer, formation, activities, and a Mass with diploma awards and tributes to catechists with 25 and 50 years of service.
