The Municipality of Funchal is organizing ASSOCIAFUNCHAL – the 1st Meeting of Social and Health Associations on October 20. The initiative aims to highlight the daily work of associations within the municipality, recognizing their crucial role in supporting the population and addressing social and health challenges.
The event will take place at Colégio dos Jesuítas and will bring together institutions active in areas such as disability, mental health, addiction, social inclusion, volunteering, protection of violence victims, and support for vulnerable populations. The program includes an opening conference, three thematic panels, and discussion sessions.
The goal is to foster mutual understanding among associations, strengthen existing connections, and encourage networking. The meeting is open to the public, with registration available until October 16.
