The Funchal Municipal Chamber's Investor Desk celebrated its 11th anniversary, marking over a decade of support for investment and entrepreneurship.
In 2025, the service recorded a record 4,886 attendances, the highest annual figure since its inception. Integrated within the Department of Economy, Tourism, and Markets, the Desk provides specialized technical support to entrepreneurs, merchants, and investors.
Notable initiatives include the +LocalCommerce program, which involved 929 establishments, and contests such as Funchal in Bloom Window Displays and Christmas Window Displays. The service also organized the Employment Forum, creating job opportunities and offering online vacancies.
