The Funchal Municipality is holding the “Territories of Culture – Participatory Mapping” session today, September 29th, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The initiative aims to build an updated portrait of the county's cultural ecosystem, with the participation of artists, collectives, and professionals in the field.
Part of the APROXIMA Project, developed under ATOS, the session is a partnership between the Funchal Municipality, the D. Maria II National Theatre, and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. The meeting will begin in the Municipal Garden Auditorium and continue in the Noble Hall of the Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre, featuring a participatory dynamic.
The goal is to identify projects, resources, needs, and barriers, exploring new possibilities for collaboration and cultural participation in the city. Participation is free but requires prior registration via email at [email protected], indicating name, contact, and area of activity.
